OnePlus 7:Specifications,price,launch event announced

Oneplus 7 pro and OnePlus 7 are set to arrive on Tuesday, May 14. OnePlus is hosting simultaneous press events to announce the launch in India(Bengaluru), UK(London), and the US(New York). OnePlus 7 would debut as the successor to the OnePlus 6T with a similar design but including upgraded hardware, while the OnePlus 7 Pro is expected to be a superior option in the new series with HDR10+ display and UFS 3.0 storage.


Launch Event:Venues,timings,date

OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro launch event is taking place on Tuesday, May 14. It will begin simultaneously in India, UK, and the US. The launch event will start at 8:15pm IST in Bengaluru, 11am EDT in US, and 4pm BST in UK. Launch Event will be held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, whereas UK launch event is at the Printworks London, and US launch event is at the Pier 94 New York. You can also live stream the launch event on OnePlus’s Youtube Channel.

Specifications(expected)

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau in a recent interview confirmed that OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro will have 5G support(this would include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X50 modem) and will come with a “super-smooth and very crisp” display. Both new models are also expected to have USB Type-C port alongside wireless charging support.

OnePlus 7 could have a 6.4-inch(1080×2340 pixels) flat display with a waterdrop-style notch(like OnePlus 6T). It is believed to have a dual rear camera setup with 48-megapixel primary sensor having f/1.7 lens- along with 5-megapixel secondary, depth sensor. OnePlus 7 will have a Snapdragon 855 SoC. It is rumoured to have up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It may have battery upto 4150 mAh. Others sensors include Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Compass, Gyroscope, and most important Fingerprint Sensor. OnePlus 7 will have Adreno 640 GPU so that games can be played smoothly. This phone is rumoured to be 8.1 mm slim and weighs 185 grams.

OnePlus 7 Pro could have a 6.7-inch curved Quad HD+(1440×3120 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a pop-up selfie camera and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is rumoured to have a triple rear camera with a 48-megapixel primary sensor sporting an f/1.6 lens as well as OIS and EIS for stabilisation. The camera setup is also said to have 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 telephoto lens and 3X zoom support and a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 wide-angle lens along with 177 degree of field of view. It is also expected to have Snapdragon 855 Soc(same as OnePlus 7). OnePlus 7 Pro could have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. It is rumoured to have a 4,000 mAh battery support Warp Charge 30W fast charging tech. It will have sensors same to OnePlus 7 mentioned above.

Price(expected)

OnePlus 7 price is not revealed or leaked so it is expected to be in line with the launch price of the OnePlus 6T. To recall, OnePlus 6T was launched with a starting price of ₹37,999 for the 6GB RAM+128GB storage model, going up to ₹45,999 for the top-end 8GB RAM+256GB storage model.

OnePlus 7 Pro price is rumoured at ₹49,999 for the base model with 6GB RAM+128GB storage, while its 8GB RAM+256GB storage model would carry a price tag of ₹52,999 and the top-of-the-line model with 12GB RAM+256GB storage is rumoured to have a price tag of ₹57,999.

The confirmed specifications,price and colour variants of OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro will be uploaded on May 14 as it will be announced globally.

Sacred Games Season 2: Season 1 Summary

Sacred Games is Netflix’s first Indian original series which was released on 6th July 2018. It is based on Vikram Chandra’s thriller novel of the same name, and it stars big names like Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Jatin Sarna, Pankaj Tripathi, and Radhika Apte. Episode 1: Ashwathama

The first episode starts off with a dog falling off a building in Mumbai, which will be emphasized later on in the season. Following that Nawazuddin enters as yesteryear gangster Ganesh Gaitonde, who hints that something big or sinister is about to happen in Mumbai. Along with Ganesh Gaitonde, there is running parallel the story of junior Mumbai police cop Sartaj Singh played by Saif Ali Khan who is in search of a big case to prove his spirit to the corrupt department he works in. Sartaj Singh gets an out-of-the-blue call from Ganesh Gaitonde himself giving him a tip about something destructive that will happen in Mumbai in next 25 days.
